Privacy policy
Short, because there is not much to say. This site is a set of static pages. It has no accounts, no basket and no newsletter, and it asks you for nothing to read any of it.
Who is responsible
This site is published for the Belgian Green Belt Challenge, organised by 12 Rounds with WBC Belgium Amateurs, the LFB and the VBL. Questions about anything on this page, and any request under the rights set out below, go to info@wbcbelgium.be.
What we collect when you read the site
Nothing you type, because there is nothing to type. The pages are served as files: your browser asks for a page, our host sends it back. Our host records that request in a server log, as every web host does, with your IP address, the page you asked for, the time, and which browser you used. Those logs are used to keep the site up and to spot abuse. We do not use them to build a profile of you.
Language and filters
The language you pick and the filters you set on the fight card live in the address bar, not on your device. That is a deliberate choice: it means a link you send to somebody arrives showing what you were looking at. Nothing about it is stored or sent to us.
If you use the contact form
The form does two things when you send it. It saves your name, your email address, the topic you picked and your message to our own database, so a message cannot be lost because nobody was watching a shared mailbox. It also opens your email app with the same message ready to send, so you can see exactly what is going, change it first, and keep a copy in your own sent items.
We keep those messages for as long as we need them to answer you and to keep a record of the event, and we do not add you to anything. Ask us and we will delete yours.
Counting pages
If, and only if, you accept optional cookies, we count that a page was read. What gets stored is one number per page per day and nothing else: no cookie, no identifier, no session, no IP address, nothing that could be tied back to you or joined up into a visit. We cannot tell how many people that number represents, and that is deliberate.
Cookies
Set out in full on the cookie policy. In short: nothing optional is stored until you accept it, and you can change your answer at any time from the footer of any page.
Who else sees your data
Two companies, both because they run part of this site for us: our web host, which serves the pages and keeps the server logs, and Supabase, which stores the contact messages and the page counts described below. Nobody else. There are no advertising tags, no social widgets, no embedded players and no fonts loaded from anyone else's server: every file this site loads comes from this site.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, ask us to restrict what we do with it, and object to it entirely. Email info@wbcbelgium.be and we will answer within a month. If you are not satisfied with our answer you can complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority, the Autorite de protection des donnees / Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit, at dataprotectionauthority.be.
Boxers, coaches and clubs
Once the entry sheet is confirmed, the names, clubs, divisions and competitive records of the entrants are published on this site, because publishing the card is the point of it. That data comes from the entry a club submits, and a boxer or their club can ask us to correct anything in it at any time.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version replaces this one on this page. There is no version history to consult, so the date below is what tells you whether you are reading something new.
